What kind of Computer do I need?

Question: What type of computer do I need to operate your software efficiently?

Answer: Any computer will do, the computer is not as important as the internet access and peripheral equipment. Certainly any new computer will be more than adequate.

For success and ease of working in our system. Originators should have:
  1. A high speed broadband connection; DSL, cable modem, FIOS. or wireless internet.
  2. A laser printer* (Preferably a dual paper bin since we use letter and legal paper in our industry)
  3. Some way of scanning documents into their computer. Scanner* or Fax machine*
  4. An E-fax Account.
  5. Speakers/microphone for 'Go to meetings'
  6. Voip (Voice over Internet Protocol) is not necessary but provides unlimited free long distance.

* I would spend my money on a great "All in One" Printer Scanner Copier Fax

Here are a couple good units:

  1. MFC-8460N with the optional 2nd paper tray. This and a computer is all you would ever need providing you stay with B & W printing. If you want color printing I would buy a "printer only" color printer.
  2. Samsung SCX-4725FN Laser All-in-One (4 in 1 Print, copy, scan & Fax) $279.98 Staples
  3. The Brother MFC-8460N (5 in 1 FAX • PRINTER • COPIER • COLOR SCANNER • PC FAX) $399.98 Staples >>> Then order the optional 2nd paper tray LT-5300). Features a 50-sheet, fold-down multi-purpose tray for envelopes, card stock, or for feeding individual sheets, such as letterhead.
Always check out the great deals on Refurbished models you can usually save another $100 to $150.00
